My son is 2 weeks old and today he seemed to not get enough food. I am breast feeding and he fed for about 2 hours (stopping for maybe a little bit) and I couldn’t produce more for him. He finally went to sleep and woke up about an hour and a half later and ate again, this time it was pumped milk and it was about 3 oz. It has only been an hour and he is up again and wanting more, he is rooting around and I can’t produce enough to satisfy him. I am afraid he is sick and just doesn’t know the difference between hunger and sickness. Please help, if it doesn’t get better I am gonna call the dr but thought I would look for some answers first.
